— My name is Gareth Gowran and I am an independent animator and illustrator based in Dublin, Ireland.

— I hold a BA(Hons) Animation Degree from Colaiste Dhulaigh in conjunction with Wolverhampton University, graduated 2018; and a Higher National Diploma in Animation from Ballyfermot College of Further Education, graduated 2004.

— As an independent animator I have co-created 6 short animated films with numerous partners and created video design for projection mapping in theatre productions. More details here.

— I work as a part-time tutor with the City of Dublin FET College Southwest Campus Adult Education Service.

— I am the co-creator alongside artist Sadhbh Lawlor of the web-comic and sequential art zine Splitting Borders.

— I have created comic art for various clients including Atomic Diner and beActive Media.
